Robert O’Gara

Robert O’Gara has spent his career at the intersection of defense, business strategy, and clean energy. Robert’s portfolio of work has supported Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives to strengthen its energy resilience posture.

Robert advises on opportunities to implement energy resilience measures to minimize disruptions to military operations and enhance warfighter readiness. Through this work, he utilizes his expertise in data science, project finance, and clean energy development to identify the most impactful energy resiliency adoption measures.

Before joining Converge Strategies, Robert led internal energy efficiency initiatives within the U.S. Air Force, enabling a 400-person military organization to adopt various energy savings measures. His work in energy efficiency began with advising the Rural Alaska Community Action Program on a go-to-market strategy for expanding its home energy efficiency services. He also designed an innovative due diligence investment platform for Tulsa Innovation Labs, resulting in $600K in investment in advanced air mobility startups from 12 Oklahoma Venture Capital investors.
