Matt Aronoff, Senior Associate, Converge Strategies
Matt Aronoff is a versatile energy sector professional with a specialization in developing trusted relationships with public and private sector stakeholders to build a resilient electric grid that puts critical infrastructure at the forefront of the ongoing energy renaissance. He excels in identifying solutions across collaborative environments by analyzing desired outcomes of various stakeholders.
At Converge Strategies, Matt works with clients to develop resources and strategies to meet their energy resilience and cost saving goals. He executes this through identifying, analyzing, crafting, and recommending public policies. Matt also advises and instructs clients about rebranding existing work streams and creating new initiatives to promote national defense priorities.
Prior to joining Converge at the U.S. Department of Energy, he led engagement with transmission developers, provided research and analysis for proposed transmission lines, managed the Electricity Advisory Committee, and supported the electricity sector’s COVID-19 response. He also has previous experience with political campaigns and on Capitol Hill.
Matt was selected for the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI)’s 2024 Cohort.
