Abby Eifert
Abby Eifert leverages her engineering expertise and knowledge of federal funding, processes, and policy to advance energy and water resilience across the Department of Defense (DoD).
At Converge Strategies, Abby applies her in-depth knowledge of DoD energy security challenges to support clients through process design, policy development, and implementation of mission resilience solutions. Abby also performs energy and water technical design and analysis for various stakeholders across the fence line.
Prior to joining Converge Strategies, Abby worked as a Project Director for the Office of Energy Initiatives within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Installations, Energy, and Environment). There, she led policy development and oversight for the Army’s performance contracting portfolio and guided project teams towards developing utility-scale energy projects on military lands to enhance energy resilience through microgrids and energy storage systems. Abby also developed policy and strategic plans to expand the Army’s ability to leverage various funding sources and authorities. Abby was awarded the Civilian Service Commendation Medal for the efforts she spearheaded in these roles.
