Leah Emanuel
Leah Emanuel specializes in working with the public and private sectors to understand their energy security risks given resource availability, the geopolitical landscape, and changing climate dynamics.
Leah supports work to convene the electricity industry and national security enterprise and develop concepts to align transmission investment and national defense. Leah uses her engagement experience to identify stakeholders, understand their individualized vulnerabilities, and build specialized energy resilience strategies.
Leah previously worked closely with the first Deputy Undersecretary of Defense (Environmental Security) Sherri Goodman, on the research and writing of her book Threat Multiplier: Climate, Military Leadership, and the Fight for Global Security. She also designed and led studies with the Salesforce Futures Team on the future of energy security through the lens of corporate technological expansion and the future of AI as understood by younger generations.
