Migdalia Blanco

Migdalia Blanco is an electrical engineer who specializes in utility distribution design to develop cost-effective, safe, and reliable power solutions that align with industry standards.

At Converge Strategies, she applies her comprehensive knowledge of power systems to support clients with process optimization, technical design, and strategic planning across a range of utility projects. She also utilizes her experience working with cross-functional teams to distill complex energy engineering concepts for non-technical audiences.

Prior to joining Converge Strategies, Migdalia led several distribution infrastructure projects as a Senior Engineer at Duke Energy, where she focused on system performance, customer satisfaction, and safety. Her work involved utilizing advanced system tools for equipment assessment, pole loading analysis, and voltage drop analysis to enhance system resilience against hurricanes in Central Florida. During her time at Leidos, Migdalia supervised a team of six engineers and executed start-to-finish project design and delivery for overhead and underground distribution systems. Her efforts resulted in standardized processes across the company that positioned teams to strengthen power systems, reduce outage impacts, and enhance long-term grid resilience.
